Congratulations to Madison Moreland and Agent Inman on their placings at the District 5 FFA Proficiency Awards night! The competition took place on March 6th, at Mount Vernon High School. To qualify, students had to win at the section level. Students in Mrs. LeFevre's SAE class keep close proficiency area records using the FFA system AET over an outside of school project, and compete against other schools with their records and interview. Way to go Appleknockers!

We appreciate Dan Silver with the SIUC Paralegal Department for taking the time to visit CHS today. Students listened to him explain about the wide variety of career opportunities in paralegal and law. He also explained how students can benefit by staying local and getting their school potentially paid for if they choose to attend SIUC.
