Cobden Youth & Community Advocates (CYCA) spring cause this year is Veterans Honor Flight of Southern Illinois. This organization flies our local veterans to D.C. to see the war memorials, and the organization covers airfare, bus fare, entry fees, food, and supplies, and guarantees the veterans receive an honorary welcome home celebration when they return. The shirt designed below was a combination of two winning designs submitted by Anna Staley and Natalie Franklin as part of a project by Ms. Z (art student teacher) in Graphic Design class. Shirts are $15, and can be purchased using the form attached, or this online link below. Orders & money are due by April 10th.
We will hold a district-wide Patriotic-out day on the day of the flight Tuesday May 7th.
