Each kit includes high-quality, brand name supplies that match your child’s exact grade-level supply list. Supplies are packed individually for each student and will be delivered directly to the school and waiting on your child’s desk at Back-to-School Night. No shopping, no guesswork, and no store lines!

FCA Save the Date
Ms. Lyerla’s first grade class took advantage of the sunshine today by taking their learning outside! ☀️ It was a beautiful day to enjoy fresh air while staying engaged and focused on learning.
Ms. Lacy’s students got festive for St. Patrick’s Day by creating colorful rainbows using Fruit Loops, marshmallows, and pipe cleaners. A fun and creative way to celebrate! 🌈🍀
Congratulations to our 4th and 5th grade Kindness Poster Contest winners! 🎨💙
These students used their creativity to share powerful messages about kindness and how we can make our school a better place. We are proud of the thought, effort, and positivity they put into their work. Great job representing what it means to be kind! 👏
Ms. Mueller’s 1st graders made math hands-on today! 🥨
They practiced adding two-digit numbers using pretzels for tens and Cheerios for ones — a fun (and tasty!) way to see place value in action. Way to make learning stick!
Our 4th graders dug into science by creating edible soil profiles — and yes, they were as delicious as they were educational! 🍪🌱
Students layered tasty ingredients to represent each horizon of the soil, learning how soil is formed and why each layer matters. From topsoil to bedrock, they built their models, explained their thinking, and then enjoyed the sweetest science lesson ever.
Hands-on learning + big smiles = a great day in 4th grade! 😋

Our students are putting their math skills to great use while supporting a wonderful cause as they begin their St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Math-a-Thon packets! If you would like to help us raise funds for St. Jude but do not currently have a student in our school, please feel free to scan the QR code below to make a donation. In honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday, we will be collecting donations for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Students who would like to wear a fun hat may bring $1 to participate. If you’re feeling the Seuss spirit and want to be extra festive, you’re also welcome to dress up as your favorite book character!
Pre-K Screening will be taking place this spring, and we look forward to meeting our newest Little Appleknockers! Please see the attached flyer for more information and call the elementary office to schedule your appointment. For students currently enrolled in our Pre-K program, there will be no Pre-K classes held on this day.

Junior High Cheer Fundraiser
Congratulations to Ms. Mueller for winning the Southern Illinois Electric Cooperative Grant. With her winnings, she has some fun and exciting learning opportunities planned for her students!
Mrs. Sheridan’s Kindergarten is 100 days smarter! 🎉💯
To celebrate the 100th day of school, our kindergarteners got creative by making lists of 100 items they’d love to have and things they wouldn't! This fun activity had students dreaming big while showing just how much they’ve learned in 100 days of kindergarten.
Way to go, Mrs. Sheridan’s class! We’re so proud of how far you’ve come in 100 days! 🍎✨
Our students had a blast at the Mad Science Assembly! 🧪🔥
A real mad scientist wowed the crowd with an exciting (and slightly explosive 😉) show full of entertaining and educational experiments—growing a Styrofoam hand, genie in a bottle, glowing tubes, flash fire paper, rockets, and more, all powered by amazing chemical reactions.
Even better, students got to jump in and help assist with the experiments while learning an important message: science is exciting, can be dangerous, and experiments should only be done with adults. Curiosity + safety = smart scientists!
A huge thank you to our PTO for providing this unforgettable opportunity and helping spark a love of science in our students. We appreciate you! 💙🧪✨
