This week’s Amazing Appleknockers are Hasely LeFevre and Mrs. Boie! 🌟 Hasely shines by helping her classmates and spreading kindness wherever she goes. Mrs. Boie is always kind and helpful, going out of her way to make each day better for those around her. Let’s celebrate them both for the positivity they bring to our school! Remember, even the smallest act of kindness can make a big difference.

Congratulations to our Junior High Cross Country Team on another strong performance in Herrin yesterday! The Appleknockers brought home two ribbons—Harper placed 5th and Wyatt placed 9th! We are so proud of all our runners!

Good Afternoon Parents,
We want to take a moment to address an important update regarding our dismissal process. To ensure a safer and more efficient pickup experience for everyone, we are making a few adjustments to how the pickup line operates.
After careful consideration, we are asking for your cooperation with the following:
If you prefer to walk up to the school to pick up your child, please park in a designated parking space - not in the pick up line- and walk up to the school.
If you are using the pick up line, please pull as far forward as possible. Staff members will come down the line and call for your child to meet you at your vehicle.
If your child needs help buckling in or requires additional assistance, we kindly ask that you pull all the way forward, so as not to block or slow the flow of traffic. You may then safely assist your child as needed.
Our top priority is, and always will be, the safety of our students. By following these updated procedures, we can maintain both safety and an efficient pickup process for all families.
Staff will be on site to assist by calling student names and directing cars to move forward. We appreciate your patience and support as we implement these changes. While transitions can be challenging at first, working together, we're confident this new system will make dismissal smoother and safer for everyone.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
