Tickets are now on sale for this year’s production of Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, & Henry Shields' one act comedy, The One-Act Play that Goes Wrong!
You all know the classic murder mystery story. There has been an untimely death at a country manor, everyone is a suspect, and an inspector is set on the case to find who the culprit is. However, when this play is performed by the accident-prone thespians of The Cornley Drama Society, everything that can go wrong…does!
This year’s performances will once again take place at the Varsity Theater in Carbondale on April 29th & 30th at 7:30 pm. Tickets may be purchased ahead of time at Cobden High School or at the box office the nights of performance for $10.00.

Baseball at Carbondale has been canceled today
8th graders enjoyed the Welcome to the Real World experience today! Students were given a salary and spending options at 8 different stations representing real life expenditures at age 25. Thanks to the U of I Extension staff for bringing this program to our students!

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. Jr. Beta Club will be hosting a supplies drive benefitting Two Rivers Child Advocacy Center in Anna, IL. Please consider making a donation of the listed items to help children right here in Southern Illinois.
