JHG basketball practice will be Saturday 12:30-2:30 in the small gym
JHB Boys basketball regional will be at New Simpson Hill. Because of limited seating, New Simpson Hill is only allowing 8th grade parents to attend the games.
We will be playing the varsity JHB basketball game first this evening, starting at 6pm. Followed by a half game for JV.
Construction has begun for the Tallest Paper Tower Challenge! Students must use only paper and tape to build the tallest tower possible that will also hold a can of food for 60 seconds. All Jr. High students in Mrs. Eagle’s science classes will participate in this challenge over the next 2 weeks. More pictures to come! #fluorchallenge

Foods II students are working on making 2 meals from one chicken. They made home made chicken stock and home made egg noodles for chicken and noodle soup this week. The remaining chicken will be frozen and saved for a casserole.

This morning members of the Cobden Youth & Community Advocates club (CYCA) helped the Laborers' Local 773 with the Pandemic Relief Food Distribution at the downtown park in Cobden. Approximately 35 pounds of fresh produce, meat, and dairy from Cusumano's & Sons were loaded per vehicle.

Congratulations to Brianna Eads, Noah Franklin, Alyssa Penrod, Aubrey Fisher, Kennedie Marks, and Emily White for being selected as Cobden High School's 2021 Outstanding Seniors. They were selected for being wonderful students in the classroom and the community. Not pictured Emily White.
Co Op student, Luis Villalva job shadowed at Mack Trucking in Carbondale. Luis will be training with Mack upon graduation and will then be hired on full time. Luis has an outstanding work ethic and has shined in the Co Op program.
Late picture packet order forms may be turned in to the office tomorrow. The photographer will be by Monday morning to pick them up.
Students in Mrs. Engelmann’s Family and Consumer Sciences club collected hygiene items to donate to the PTO’s community panty at the elementary school.
