Tonight's High School Boys basketball game at the Zeigler-Royalton Tournament between Cobden and Dongola is postponed until Friday.
Educators Rising Club welcomed alumni, Rhylee Sauerbrunn to speak with Educators Rising members about her experience as a Golden Apple Scholar at ISU. Rhylee shared valuable information about applying to Golden Apple as well as how to be successful in college 🍎

Senior parents, do not forget about the FAFSA Night with the SIUC Financial Aid Department at AJCHS tomorrow night. We hope to see you there!

Congrats to the Cobden High School Scholar Bowl for another win! Both the JV and Varsity teams pulled in wins over Joppa today. Way to go!

Caroline Taylor advanced to the Patriots Pen sectional for the VFW 15th district, and Tess Brummer advanced to the Voice of Democracy Sectional for the VFW 15th District. They competed against schools of all sizes, and the district covers from Franklin County to the southern tip of Illinois. Below are pictures from Saturday's banquet including a pic with their social studies teachers, Mrs Taylor and Mrs Nashberry.


A reminder that the last day to purchase or turn in FFA hog raffle tickets is Monday, January 8th. The hog will be ready for immediate pick up, or a time can be scheduled with Mrs. Lefevre.

2023-2024 yearbooks on sale now!

The Class of 2026 fundraiser at Cobden Village Shops, next to the Iron Whisk, has been restocked with many sizes. T-shirts are $16, Crewneck sweatshirts are $20, and Hoodies are $32. Two different design options are available as pictured below. All proceeds go towards the Class of 2026.



FFA will continue to sell half a hog raffle tickets until January 8th due to slower than expected processing times.

Student Council is hosting a Polar Express Party on our final exam days. Students, wear your pj's to school and bring money to purchase hot chocolate or coffee before school starts.

Today Dec. 20th at 2:05pm and tomorrow Thursday Dec. 21st.
