Vacancies for the 2024-25 School Year
Mrs. Reiman's Psychology class was delighted to have Melise Oakley with Southern Illinois Hospice visit class today to teach us about dementia and Alzheimer's. The students are currently studying how memory and the brain work in our curriculum. Melise's interactive Dementia Demo helped us understand how our senses, memory, and behavior can change for someone diagnosed with dementia. She also brought her therapy dogs, Millie and Blue, to help us learn about the critical role they can play in dementia care. Thank you, Melise, for your time today!
5th/6th Grade Girls Basketball Team- All girls currently in grades 5 through 6th are welcome to attend. First practice is Monday January 22, at 2:30pm in the small gym. There are flyers in the office with all the information for anyone interested.
Congrats to the Cobden High School Scholar Bowl for another win! Both the JV and Varsity teams pulled in wins over Sesser-Valier today. Way to go!
Mr. Grossman is excited to announce the cast for this year's play: Puffs, or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic! The cast is excited to get started, and we hope to see you all at the Varsity Theater on May 3rd and 4th!

Educators Rising Club welcomed alumni, Rhylee Sauerbrunn to speak with Educators Rising members about her experience as a Golden Apple Scholar at ISU. Rhylee shared valuable information about applying to Golden Apple as well as how to be successful in college 🍎
