Students in Mrs.Hurt's biology classes visited the SIU campus yesterday to collect leaves. They also visited the greenhouses, the Japanese garden, the Sculpture garden, and the Geology department. It was a beautiful day to be outside exploring!

High School Baseball at Agape Christian High School. Game time 4:30pm, bus leaves at 2:45pm.
Foods I class along with the help of Mrs. Maria, prepared pozole, a traditional Mexican soup. Students then passed out samples to students and staff who gave feedback. The goal is to work with the cafeteria staff to incorporate new recipes. Overall the soup received rave reviews and we hope to see it on the lunch menu soon!

This week, Cobden students and faculty participated in See You At The Pole, a student-led day of prayer that takes place annually on the fourth Wednesday of September.

Annual Volleyball Purple Out game is scheduled for next Friday, October 4. at 6:00pm. against Agape Christian School. Order forms for this year's shirts will be in the high school and elementary offices, as well as at the Volleyball games. ALL proceeds go toward the Taylor Tomazzoli Scholarship Fund.

Cobden art club was invited to participate the "High School Art Experience" at SIU today. Students attended three different sessions, prompting them to create artworks to be displayed at Morris Library on campus at a later date.
