Reminder orders due Wednesday Dec. 4- The Junior Class of 2026 is selling Quatro's gift certificates for $10 each. For every certificate sold, Quatros donates $3 back to the class. There is no expiration on the certificates, and they can be used for anything on the menu at Quatros in Carbondale such as pizza, salads, pastas, and sandwiches. These make great stocking stuffers! Mr. Grossman's Public Speaking class is preparing for their demonstration speeches by participating in the "Lego Challenge." One member of each group (the Manager) uses the directions to instruct the other members of the group (the Builders) to build a specific Lego set. The Builders cannot look at the directions. and the Manager cannot touch the pieces. This exercise helps them strengthen their ability to work in a team by fostering skills like communication, collaboration, and teamwork!
Mr. Grossman is excited to announce the choice for this year’s play: Jane Austen's timeless classic Pride and Prejudice!
This delightful stage adaptation of Austen’s most popular novel was written by Andrew Davies, author of the iconic 1995 BBC TV adaptation.
Auditions will be held Thursday, December 5th after school in the CHS Theatre Department room for any interested High School student. Please see Mr. Grossman to pick up an Audition Packet ASAP! We hope to see many of you there!
