Ag in the classroom visit 1st Grade in Ms. Lyerla's room. They learned about dairy cows and got to make their very own butter! They shook and shook and shook their heavy whipping cream until it magically turned into butter!

Today we were privileged to have a visit from the Food Works Mobile Farmers Market truck. Each grade level visited the market to learn about fresh, locally-sourced foods that are available in our community. Students participated in an activity and were given "play money" to purchase fresh produce and baked goods. Students and staff loved this visit!

Building Friendships that last. Did you know that building friendships helps with all areas of your development? In Pre-K friendships are very important this helps build skills like sharing, taking turns, managing disagreements, listening to others and so much language development.
The pre-K class helped build friendships today by playing a matching game which helped students in recognizing and recalling other children in their class.

Mrs. Raganyi’s Pre-K class has been investigating apples! They did an apple taste test this week and made an apple volcano! A special thank you to Flamms Orchard for the variety of apples. 🍎 🍏
