Our Pre-K classes had a magical surprise from the Gingerbread Man! He tried to escape from the kitchen and ran through the halls—visiting classrooms, attempting to sing in music, and even stopping by the nurse’s office. In the end, our students finally caught up to him and enjoyed a sweet treat to celebrate the adventure!

Taylor Dodd and Wood Insurance will be hosting a free community event on December 12th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at their office. Families can enjoy free horse-drawn carriage rides and pictures with Santa—a fun and festive way to celebrate the season. While the event is completely free, they will be accepting non-perishable food donations at the door. All donations will go directly to local food pantry to support families in need throughout the community this holiday season.

Last week our kitchen team prepared and served farm-fresh chicken from Flock Farm, and it was a big hit! The students really loved their lunch.

Hello Cobden families,
On Friday night, one of our Jr. High girls’ basketball players experienced a medical emergency following a fall during the game. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the first responders and bystanders who stepped in to help.
We are grateful and relieved to share that she is making great progress in her recovery. In her honor, we invite everyone to wear blue at some point this week to show your support and encourage her continued healing.
Thank you for keeping her and her family in your thoughts.
Families, we wanted to let you know about a small lunch menu update for tomorrow. Instead of spaghetti, students will enjoy fresh chicken drumsticks and thighs from Flock Farms. All side items will remain the same — green beans and fruit cocktail will still be served. Thank you for your understanding, and we’re excited to offer our students this fresh, locally sourced option! 🍽️🐓
The following students have reached their goals in November for our school-wide Accelerated Reading program. Students are required to read books and take comprehension tests on the computer to achieve their points. 25 Point Club: Arthur Kaszubski, Troy Williams, Tadeo Nava, Loralei Miller, Sofia Salas, Reagan Moore, Angel Palmerin (not pictured Macy Adamitis) 50 Point Club: Claire Flamm

As colder weather arrives, we want to make sure all students stay warm and comfortable throughout the school day. Please be sure your child comes to school each day with appropriate winter gear—coats, hats, gloves, and any additional layers they may need.
We plan to have outdoor recess as long as the actual or “feels like” temperature is above 32°F. Fresh air and movement are important, and proper winter clothing helps us keep students safe while enjoying their time outside.
Thank you for helping us keep everyone bundled up and ready for the colder months ahead!

Today we had a parade like no other! The hallways were filled with oohs and ahhs as students enjoyed our 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade. They created their own balloons and showed off their marching skills, and the High School Band helped make the event even more special!
