Congratulations to Dora Funes, Gabriela Flores, and Agent Inman for receiving their Veterinary Medical Applications Certification! Students who passed the Animal Science course were offered the chance to test for certification. These students will be able to use this certification to enter the workforce. Way to go Appleknockers!
Mrs. LeFevre's Ag Mechanics class has been learning about precision Agriculture. This week, students researched and built irrigation systems. Drip irrigation, furrow irrigation, and sprinkler irrigation were tested.

Cobden High School Graduation 2023 CHANGE OF VENUE
Due to the chance of inclement weather, the Class of 2023 Graduation ceremony will take place at Shryock Auditorium on the SIU-C campus on May 12th at 7pm. We thank SIU-C for their cooperation and willingness to help us honor our graduates and we look forward to celebrating this commemorative moment with you. Parking information is attached below. We recommend blue lots #2 & #10. More information regarding practice and details will be released as soon as possible.

Our six Outstanding Seniors attended the Southern Illinois Society for High School Achievement Banquet with Mrs. Reiman yesterday evening at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. They were recognized for their outstanding achievements in academics, citizenship, and leadership amongst other local high schools. Congratulations, Brady Bundren, Makenzie Hilliard, Sophie Lingle, Rhylee Sauerbrunn, Mary Pender, and Karleigh Ellis!
Child Development students invited kindergarten to do hands on activities at the high school. Students made snails, tissue paper butterflies, cloud art and berry kabobs.
