We want to remind our Cobden families and community members that our School Food Pantry is here to serve you! The pantry is located behind the elementary cafeteria and is open every weekend from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
This resource is available to all families and community members who would like to utilize it—no questions asked.
Our pantry is completely run by donations and volunteer help, and we are always accepting contributions to keep our shelves stocked with both food items and hygiene products.
Donations can be dropped off at Cobden Elementary in the black box outside the front entrance at any time.
Monetary donations are also appreciated and can be made by check, payable to Cobden PTO Food Pantry.
Thank you for your continued generosity and for helping us take care of one another. Our community is stronger together! ❤️

Congratulations to Amelia Long our 2025 Miss Peach Festival Queen and Mariana Palmerin our 1st Runner up and Miss Congeniality. Way to represent Cobden Appleknockers! So proud of you both!

We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate one of our own, Mrs. Englemann, who was honored last night in Chicago at the 2025 Golden Apple Awards!
Alongside eight other outstanding teachers and two exceptional school leaders, Mrs. Englemann was recognized for her dedication and passion. Her commitment to shaping the future of education is truly inspiring, and her leadership will continue to guide and mentor others for years to come. Congratulations, Mrs. Englemann—we are so proud to call you an Appleknocker!
