Cobden Junior High & High School

We want to remind our Cobden families and community members that our School Food Pantry is here to serve you! The pantry is located behind the elementary cafeteria and is open every weekend from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This resource is available to all families and community members who would like to utilize it—no questions asked.

Our pantry is completely run by donations and volunteer help, and we are always accepting contributions to keep our shelves stocked with both food items and hygiene products.

Donations can be dropped off at Cobden Elementary in the black box outside the front entrance at any time.

Monetary donations are also appreciated and can be made by check, payable to Cobden PTO Food Pantry.

Thank you for your continued generosity and for helping us take care of one another. Our community is stronger together! ❤️

Class of 2025!! The 2024-2025 yearbooks are in. If you ordered one, they are available for pick up in the office now. Yearbooks will be handed out next week to all other students who ordered.
*If you did not order one, there are a few left over at a first come first serve basis for $60.*

We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate one of our own, Mrs. Englemann, who was honored last night in Chicago at the 2025 Golden Apple Awards! Alongside eight other outstanding teachers and two exceptional school leaders, Mrs. Englemann was recognized for her dedication and passion. Her commitment to shaping the future of education is truly inspiring, and her leadership will continue to guide and mentor others for years to come. We’re excited to welcome all families back for our district-wide Open House on Tuesday, August 12 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM! This is a great opportunity to:

Drop off school supplies

Meet your child’s teachers

Locate classrooms

Visit with Nurse Holly to submit medications, health documents, and action plans

Connect with Gary Wright from Wrightway Transportation to learn about bus routes and procedures

Pay school fees in the main offices:

$30 registration fee for all students

$10 Appleknocker Club fee (K–5th grade only)

$5 recorder fee (4th grade only)

Cobden Unit School District #17 Online Registration is officially open. We have added and updated many of the sections this year and hopefully everyone finds it useful and user friendly.
