Employment Opportunity

The state of Illinois has announced their plan of implementing the SunBucks EBT program this fall. While we don't have much information, it is our understanding that all Cobden Dist 17 students should be eligible for benefits without the need to apply individually. Here is what we know....

Update for today's dismissal:
To allow time for student's to safely make it home, school will dismiss at 2:45 today. Buses will run at that time.
Stay safe everyone.

Cobden parents and guardians. After a briefing with the National Weather Service, administration has decided to continue to monitor the weather throughout the day. At this point, school will dismiss at our normal times today. There will be no after school tutoring, day care, or any other activities.
At this time, we feel that students may be safer here with teachers and staff rather than be home alone. If you feel the need to pick your child up early, please contact the office and follow usual protocols.
Thank you and stay safe.
