As we geared up for our Scholastic Book Fair our students participated in a Coin War to raise money for All for Books! All for Books money will be used to purchase books for our elementary library and put books in the hands of all of our students.
Our Coin War competition only lasted four days but our students raised an amazing amount of money! Each classroom participated as a group to compete to see who could raise the very most. The top 3 highest earning classes will have a special party to celebrate. The top three classes are; Mrs. Mark’s’ 4th Grade (1st place), Mrs. Genung’s Kindergarten (2nd place), and Mrs. Tripp’s 2nd Grade (3rd place). The grand total raised by our students was a whopping $1,809.00!!! We are all amazed! This money will be used to purchase a book for every individual student and fill our elementary library with exciting new books to read!
