Bio

Hello! I am the school counselor at Cobden Jr. & Sr. High. I graduated with my Master's of Educational Psychology with a specialization in school counseling from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2014. This is my 4th year at Cobden, and I love working for the school and within the community. I teach one class, Dual Credit Psychology, in the fall semester for juniors and seniors. The rest of my time is spent meeting with and advising students in the realm of college/career readiness, social/emotional learning, and helping them plan for their futures. I enjoy leading lessons in the classroom, sponsoring Student Council, and seeing our students achieve their goals and grow! In my free time, I camp with my husband and four sons, read, attend sporting events at CHS, and spend time with friends. Other hobbies include anything Disney and traveling as much as possible.
