Erin Wiltowski

Bio

    Mrs. Erin Wiltowski is looking forward to another incredible school year! She loves to encourage students at Cobden Elementary to be the very best they can be in and out of the classroom. 

    Mrs. Wiltowski has been proud to be an Appleknocker since beginning her career in education. In 2007 she began her journey as a 2nd grade teacher for Cobden Unit School District #17. She has loved her experiences working with students and families in the Cobden community and knows what an incredible school system we are a part of.  After teaching for 11 years in our district, she became Elementary Principal in 2018.

    Mrs. Wiltowski is a Southern Illinois native and grew up in Carbondale.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Indiana in 2005. Later on, Mrs. Wiltowski completed her Masters in Educational Administration and earned her Superintendent endorsement at Southern Illinois University.  She is a strong believer in lifelong learning.

    In addition to being an administrator and teacher, Mrs. Wiltowski is blessed to be the mom of two sons, Jackson and Maxwell.  She lives with her sons and husband, Jacek, in Carbondale.  Together they enjoy traveling, sports, reading, and many outdoor activities.  

    Mrs. Wiltowski is motivated to provide a learning-rich environment for her students, colleagues, and families.  She firmly believes that students are at the center of all decisions for the school district. The focus of these decisions is always what's best for our kids.  Mrs. Wiltowski feels grateful to partner with an incredible community of people to help every child at Cobden Elementary strive to achieve their goals!
