Bio

Welcome Students and Parents/Guardians! My name is Haley Anderson, and I have been the school counselor at Cobden Elementary since 2008. I’m looking forward to another great year with our excellent students and teachers/staff! As the school counselor, I provide individual and group counseling, make community referrals to local counseling agencies, and participate in the Student Assistance Program (SAP), which supports students who are experiencing any academic and/or behavioral concerns. It is my goal to help promote a positive learning experience for the students of Cobden Elementary. Some common topics that I address include: changing families, positive self-esteem, anger management, anti-bullying, attention/focus, and grief.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, Amelia. We have fun going on adventures and exploring nature. She is excited to become an Appleknocker when she’s old enough to start school!
